Nighthawk AX8 AX6600 - Port and cable troubleshooting
Hi,
I have the following router:
Nighthawk AX8 AX6600 Tri-band 8-Stream WiFi 6 Router (Nighthawk AX8 AX6600 WiFi 6 Router)
Router Firmware Version V1.0.13.128
I am trying to solve an issue with either a bad unmanaged switch or cables.
I suspect the unmanaged switch.
I have had some outages with things connected via ethernet (but not the wifi).
So ethernet going down - wifi kept working during this time.
(I could still surf internet etc).
Anyway I am wondering in the logs is there anything in particular I can look for.
Is there anything anywhere that can tell me the status of each of the individual ethernet ports on the back (or some type of diagnostic logs)?
Thanks
Ward

Re: Nighthawk AX8 AX6600 - Port and cable troubleshooting
how often does it happen?
When it happens, does your switch have LED's on it you can check the connection?
Do you have any long ethernet cables you could direct wire those device in to test it?
