Nighthawk Modem router stops working after any power outage
Like the title implies I've had this $350+ Nighthawk cable modem router (CAX30) for a year now without issues. Now for some reason every time there is a power outage (Usually lasts a split second up to a second) the router turns on like normal but none of my devices are able to connect to it. Just get a failed to connect error. Anything wired by ethernet has internet access but is kind of slow. Any other wireless device just cannot connect to the router even after a power cycle. It's gotten so bad that every time an outage happens, I need to do a factory reset on the router in order for it to be functioning like normal. Xfinity app says everything is good on their end.
Does anyone have similar issues or could know what these issues could mean? Weird enough I have 4-6 devices (Out of 20+) that are able to connect to the wifi but these are smart home devices. Anything else just gets an error when connecting.

Unfortunately, electronic devices can have a problem when switched off and on. Do it a lot and electronic circuits can break.
Have you narrowed this down to the router? If wired connections come back to life, can you still "see" the WiFi even if things don't reconnect?
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
If this is a regular event, it might be a good idea to invest in an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to prevent power cuts from killing the modem/router.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
