I have an Amazon Fire 8 which connects to my network but doesn't have internet access. If I am on my cellphone hot spot and the Fire connects to the hot spot I have internet access with no change to any settings on the Fire. Is there a setting I can change on my router to allow the Fire to access the internet?

Check your router DNS settings. Use those from Google or CloudFlare (8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1)
