Nighthawk rax45 keeps giving update error

I was trying to do a firmware update, but it keeps giving update error.

      i was doing the firmware update from the phone app. the app just said "update error" and told me to go for online support. anyway, i tried later and then the app showed that my version was already the latest, even though the router never rebooted, like it does after an update.
