RAX 120 QOS
For an upgrade this seems like a step backwards. My WiFi 5 Nighthawk let me limit both upload and download speeds and this only lets me limit upload which still leaves alot of latency.

PS: if your line is fast enough (300-1000 Mbps) your shouldn't be using QoS unless you have a very good reason.

My line is 300mb, but letting the download run unchecked still causes latency. Hooking up my old router runs online FPS better than new one. Just seems sad that this is a thing with the newer routers.

Enabling QoS, as in your subject, is not advised with an Internet speed of 300 Mbps.
That is fast enough for just about everything you do and can slow down the router because it requires processing power.
