RAX43 trying to connect USB printer through ReadyShare

I have connected an HP Envy Photo 7855 printer to the USB3.0 port of my RAX43 router.

The Netgear USB Control Center is installed on computer (Dell 8930, Windows 11)

In the Control Center, the devices panel is blank and all buttons/choices grayed out or not accessible.

The printer is powered on, but on the router, the USB 3.0 light is not on

The USB port on the router formerly was connected to an external hard drive and was accessible through ReadyShare.

Perhaps I'm missing something simple...I hope someone can guide me!

I see no sign on the manual for the RAX43 that it supports USB printer sharing. Indeed, few RAX devices seem to support that feature.

Did they add it in later firmware?
