RAX50 - Internet Outage occurred during setup. Power button blinking red/white corrupt firmware
I currently have a R7000P nighthawk router and purchased a new RAX50 as a replacement. I used the Nighthawk app for setup however unfortunately during the process of setup our internet provider experienced an outage during the firmware update. The router's power is now blinking red/white and will not let me proceed with the setup. I've been on with support a few times, attempted a unit reset but cannot recover. From all I'm reading and seeing this is pointing to corrupted firmware. I have created a support case however continue to get cut off when on hold. Has anyone experienced this? I'm trying to assess if this unit now is just dead in the water or if I can do something to salvage it and set up. Thanks!

Re: RAX50 - Internet Outage occurred during setup. Power button blinking red/white corrupt firmware
You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Re: RAX50 - Internet Outage occurred during setup. Power button blinking red/white corrupt firmware
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk RAX WiFi 6 Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.
