RAX70 Access Control List Randomly Blocks Approved MAC's
The RAX70 wireless router's Access Control application is failing, it is randomly blocking previously APPROVED MAC addresses that most of the time work, but often they do not; I have to get into the app on an enabled PC and re-Allow them and save again. In the Access Control, I have Block All New Devices checked; I am guessing that THAT LIST of APPROVED devices is somehow forgotten, lost, or gets erased somehow.
Today, 4 out of 5 Access Points are blocked. Software version is latest as of 10/3/23, the 1.0.14.134. To this make matter worse, I tried to backup the settings and reinstall the update, but the backup files WOULD NOT WRITE to any folders, I get a temporary "being-downloaded transition file" named Unconfirmed xxxxxx.crdownload file where x is a bunch random numbers.
So, Approved MAC's are randomly blocked and settings cannot be backed up. Can some one in the forum here or the Support Team help out? TP-Link never had this issue. C'mon Netgear, be better than this!
Thanks

Re: RAX70 Access Control List Randomly Blocks Approved MAC's
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

Do not load a saved backup config from file.
I'd setup some ip address reservations for your devices as well:

Then re-setup Access Controls and observe.
