RAX80 question about blinking and red lights on router

My router has a blinking light on the top right hand side next to the WIFI light, why is this blinking? Also I have 2 blue lights and 2 red lights on the eathernet ports? # 1 & 3 are blue, 1 is the computer tower, 3 is my Verizon signal booster. # 2 & 4 are red, 2 is going to my Direct TV, 4 is going to my printer. Could someone shed some light on why it is doing this. Thanks for any imput and help.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for the
LED descriptions.  Note that these indicators have identifying names.

Possible firmware bug?  See, for rxample:

Are those colors what Netgear calls "white" and "amber"?

Someone who's looked at the LED descriptions in the User Manual ought
    to be able to.

As descriptions go, "my Direct TV" and "my printer" are not good for
much, but I'd guess that those devices do not have 1000Mb/s Ethernet
interfaces.  Your "the computer tower" and "my Verizon signal booster"
    (whatever they are) apparently do.

  • The manual has what all the led's are and what they mean.

    It can be found here:

The top right is the wps light.

I think your "blue' for the ethernet lights is actually white, signify a gigabit connection. The "red" is actually amber and signifies a 10/100mbps connection.
