Raxe300 has region locked on NA, looking for europe region firmware

Hi,

I bought the router on amazon US to save few bucks, and now I pay dearly for it.

The router is region locked on NA, I live in europe.

No matter what, the region tab is set on united states and is grey color, and because of that, the router performs poorly due to electrical differences between the regions.

Where can I find firmware specifically for europe?

I tried at: http://downloadcenter.netgear.com but found only for NA.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    There is no firmware that can flip the region. US models are meant for NA and Europe ones for Europe. You can't switch back and forth between them.

      Not quite. US models are meant for NA but Europe ones work everywhere.

       

      It is the US that locks the region. Buy in Europe and you can change to wherever you like.

       

      Here's my choice.
