Hi
I have a network RBK852, 1 router, 1 satellite.
I have a "almost dead" corner in my living room, hardly WifFi signal.
Q1: Is itl possible to expand the network with an extra satellite?
Q2 If necessary, can I put the Satellite on a UTP Cable (Cat 5e) to kill the dead spot?

What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try option #2 first if you haven't already.
Stone brick walls will be problematic for any wifi signals

Re: Expansion Network rbk852, IOS
Thanks!
I have option #2 already operational from the begining; all Wifi bands shut off.Orbi Router is the only Router.
Stone brick walls will be problematic for any wifi signals
This causes the weak/dead spot in my house...checked it with NetSpot best Signal ~ -85 / -90 dB
My Apple TV doesn't work properly due to bad signal
So,.... best solution?
Install extra Satellite? possible with cable?
Just install switch and connect all devices with cable? direct cable to modem available

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
