Help needed - New Orbi is 3x slower than Old Orbi (Wired & Wifi)
Hi all
Any help here would be brilliant
I use to run Orbi RBK50 and 2 satellites using Virgin media 500meg broadband.
When wired via ethernet I was actually getting above this speed at roughly 600meg download on average
However they started failing and disconnected loads
I then upgraded Virgin to the 1gig and got the latest Virgin Media Router. I also bought new Orbi rbk763s to go with this new deal and ditched the old rbk50
However since doing this on a much faster 1 gig line - I know get between 150-200 meg download via ethernet through a satellite (Same setup as before but now about 3 times slower)
If I stand right next to the Orbi router with my phone via wifi I barely get 80meg
Something is very wrong but i have no idea how to solve this. Currently it looks like a huge waste of money to upgrade for a much slower connection
Not that techy when it comes to resolving these things so any help would be great as I'm sure it could be solved.
Thanks
