Max Satellites nodes for RBK853

I bought Orbi RBK853 and due to home design and building materials I need to add more sattlites to the network. So what is the maximum Number of sattlite nodes I can add to the network?

Re: Max Satellites nodes for RBK853

You can connect the RBR via ethernet cable and configure it for AP mode. IT will need to have a separate SSID name and use channels far appart from the 8 series Orbi.

Thank you sir for your respond. I have RBK50 router with 2 sattlites. Do you think I can connect the RBK50 router with RBK 853 router with cable? Then use it for the 2 floor?

Re: Max Satellites nodes for RBK853

I think the official # is 4 however others have posted having more then that connected. I thought there was one post about a user having several. I don't remember where the post is.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

Re: Max Satellites nodes for RBK853

I would also turn down the power out put from the RBS50 radios from 100% to 50 or 25%. Helps to lesson the wifi interferences between the two systems. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
