Modems that are compatible for the Orbi RBK350
I need to buy a new modem which is compatible with the Orbi RBK350. My modem right now is a router and modem in one called the N3 700. I'm looking to update. I prefer the price to be under 300$.

The cable campany will provide a list of compatible modems. Look for DOCSIS 3.1

Each Internet Service Provider (ISP) uses specific equipment to deliver service:
- Some provide internet over a twisted pair connection that also provides voice service, called a Digital Subscriber Line. This requires a DSL capable modem on the customer end.
- Some provide internet over Coaxial cable, typically along with television and voice. This service requires a "cable modem".
- Some provide internet over optical fiber. This service requires an Optical Network Terminator (ONT).
Netgear routers, including the RBR350 are compatible with all of these devices. What I intended to say was, "Consult the ISP web site to see which cable modems are compatible with their service" (assuming that "modem" referred to a typical cable modem such as those used by Cox, Xfinity, Spectrum.
