Must I plug my new Orbi WiFi 6 Router directly into my modem?
I am installing a Netgear Orbi Triband Mesh 6 System in my home. Do I have to plug the orbi router directly into my modem or can I use a ethernet jack in another room?
Thanks

If the connection is good in the other room from the ISP modem, then you can connect it in the other room.
CAT6A STP cabling is recommended between the ISP modem and RBR router.
A direct connection to any modem or ONT is preferred though.
