Had to perform a full factory reset on router and satellites. Web interface for the router is accessible again, but it doesn't show the satellites to be connected....HOWEVER...they satellites are connected. I can access the web interface for the satellites by hitting their IP's directly and they show to be connected to the network (and they show to have some of my devices connected to them).
The good: router's web interface is accessible again.
The bad: router's web interface shows ZERO satellites connected (yet they are definitely connected).

So all the comments and feedback is good - I am going to hold off doing anything until I get back from my trip. My better half works remotely and I can’t have this not function. I don’t have a good feeling that a factory reset will work and worse yet, render my network useless.
Does any Netgear employees troll this forum? Is there a definitive fix that could be provided ‘cause I am not seeing this form all the posts.

Mine updated automatically to 4.6.8.2 and so far no issues.
With the previous version I had to reset and reload the config after manually updating due to random router crashes.
Maybe this recent reset helped ensure the latest automatic update worked fine?

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Had my first post 4.6.8.2 crash last night. This morning I have reset to factory and re-loaded my backup to see if this fixes the issue.
It does seem this router needs a reset and reload after every firmware update!

Odd. I never had crashes after updating firmwares. Just annoying bugs like the former guest network connection issue to the Internet.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
If it happens again, try a factory reset and setup from scratch with out loading a saved backup from file.

Well sadly I think I'm also going to have to perform a factory reset since updating. Twice now, I've had complete loss of wifi, and the time it takes for it to come back makes me feel like it is doing some sort of hard reboot (it takes a few minutes to return). All devices lose access. Phones, Laptops, Cameras. Just as if someone had turned the power off at the switch. At first I was hoping it was a one off, but it happened again today randomly.
Up time shows 2hrs 38mins (So 15:39 is the correct time for when it came back online). Logs don't anything prior to the loss. All they show is the device re-initalising, then grabbings some IPs, edge router connects, then it corrects its time with NTP and off it goes like nothing has happened. 😐

Ok thanks for letting us know. Ya, a reset maybe needed. I am tracking this as well. Seeing odd system time resets and reboots for unknown reasons. After you reset and setup from scratch, keep track of the system uptime from 1st start and see if anything changes here.

Works stable, except for one serious issue.
Issue? My OOMA Telo is recognized as an Orbi Sat and is not working correctly as a VoIP device. I've reset the OOMA and I've reset my Orbi RBK753 setup to no avail.
While everything else is fantastic, my VoIP service for phone is now completely useless.
Anyone else own an Ooma Telo and having issues since this update?
- FURRYe38May 07, 2022Guru
Is the OOMA device wireless or wired to the system?
What happens if you put the OOMA in the RBRs DMZ? Setup a IP address reservation for the OOMA device on the RBR first.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Wired.
It's fixed now. While I had reset the device, I had to unplug it and connect the "home" connection to my laptop and reconfigure the device. I don't use the Ooma as a router, which is what Ooma would prefer but the ethernet port is only the super slow "fast ethernet". If they released the device with the only change for modern ethernet, I might be interested in their Zscaler security feature, but for now it just hangs off of the Orbi router.
