Orbi 960 solid blue light when connected to modem
I’m trying to connect my new Orbi 960 to my cable modem. I’ve unplugged the modem and let it sit for a minute before plugging it back in; then I connected the 960 and plugged it in. The white light pulsed for a few minutes then turned solid blue— according to the setup app, it’s supposed to be solid white.
I’ve gone through the whole procedure three times now, and even tried resetting the Orbi with the push reset button. The blinking white light still becomes solid blue and the app can’t proceed.
I tried opening a support case with Netgear, but you have to register the product first, and every time I try to do that, I’m told that there’s some sort of problem and please try again later.
So far, I’m not impressed.

As my grandmother would say, "Bless their little hearts" (and this was not a compliment)
The User Manual, pages 11-12 does not mention the router light turning Blue.

Thus:
- The light cannot be blue. It did not turn blue. You are horribly color blind. or....
- "Bless their little hearts". The people who wrote the User Manual (and the (*&%&*^ Orbi 'app' are dumber than dirt.) Blue has always meant "Good", whether on router or satellite. Magenta (fancy word for red) has always meant "Bad".
If the router LED turns blue for three minutes, that means it has connected to the internet.
