Orbi RBE960 with 4 Satellites
Good evening all,
I intend to buy an ORBI RBE 960 with 3 satellites in order to cover the entire house (4000 Sq ft).
I just have one question: do the satellites connect to each other wireless as the distance from the router to all satellites would be too far to get a correct connection.
Router to Satellite 1 then Satellite 2 to Satellite 1 and then Satellite 3 to satellite 2, this all in wireless.
Thank you very much

Re: Orbi RBE960 with 4 Satellites
AS long as the distance of each "hop" provides a strong signal, yes it should work.
But there may be issues with performance. Netgear recommends a maximum of two satellites in a Daisy Chain:

Re: Orbi RBE960 with 4 Satellites
For that size of home, depending on building materials, the router unit and just two sateliites should be sufficient. I have a 5000sq ft home 3 levels and can get by with just one ethernet connected sattellie. When I have two satellites running, I turn the power down to 25%.
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
