Orbi RBK852 and satellites- service keeps dropping

Hello- I have an Orbi RBK852 with three wired satellites (we just moved into an old house with insanely thick stone walls that was blocking the signal when we tried to use them as wireless, and I need one wired connection for my work computers for security issues). We have Verizon Fios service which was recently installed around 4 days ago. The internet connection drops sporadically for approximately 15-20 min at a time multiple times a day, which is incredibly annoying as then my work VPN gets disconnected and the entire computer crashes. I called Verizon and they claim there hasn't been any connectivity issues on their end so I have to think it must be the Orbis. Does anyone have any insight into this??? Thanks in advance.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

How are the RBS connected to the RBR via ethernet? Directly to the back of the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between them?

What CAT# lan cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.

Current firmware version is V4.6.8.2.

I just have the Orbi router connected directly to the FIOS cable. When I called Verizon they said not to connect two routers because it would confuse the service (?)

The house is 3000 sq feet but with very thick stone walls which is why I connected the RBR with the 3 RBS (directly, no LAN switc h.

Using CAT6 cables for every connection.

If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
