Orbi RBR 350 Guest Network AP Mode
Currently using my Orbi in router mode and the Guest network works well as is assigned a different IP subnet eg. 192.168.2 vs 192.168.1
Thinking about changing to AP mode for various reasons but concerned that the guest network isn’t really separated when in AP mode per the below thread

Does that apply to the AX orbi?

Re: Orbi RBR 350 Guest Network AP Mode
That is correct. When the Orbi is in Access Point (AP) mode, all IP addresses are assigned by the primary router, and Guest devices are not separated from the primary network.
Is it a Big Deal? Are you inviting scoundrels and hackers over to use your WiFi? Anyway, it is what it is.

Re: Orbi RBR 350 Guest Network AP Mode
Thanks CrimpOn.
The Guest network is mainly for the IoT devices. If the main router assigns separate IP subnets for Guest networks, then in AP the Orbi should just follow what is assigned by the router then.
