Wifi has strong signal everywhere around the house, but the internet goes down all the time over wifi. I have 3 satellites that are all wired to the router. Anyone else having issues with the wifi continuously dropping internet?
What Firmware version is currently loaded? What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 🛰️
How are the RBS ethernet connected to the RBR? Directly or is there a LAN switch/patch panel in between?
Brand and model# of LAN switch if one is present?
What CAT# Lan cable are you using? CAT6 STP is recommended.
Are the RBS using the 1Gb or 2.5Gb LAN port in back?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
