I had the new update for a few days now, and ever since the update, my wifi/internet connection has been unstable. It will go on and off a few times every day. Internet speed is also slower, with youtube choosing 360P even during non-peak hours.
Am I the only one experiencing such a problem? Are there any solutions available?

- WaliuddinAug 04, 2021GuideI am facing the same issue of internet getting disconnected, slower speeds after 4 series update, router not responding via mobile app. Over all a very bad product from Netgear and no sign of refunding the money.
We need to complaint to consumer court and sue them. - DieselroseAug 04, 2021TutorRBK750, and yeah my internet has gone from 900MBPS TO 6000MBPS when I do a speed test, and my Xbox Series X which I have CAT 6 Ethernet cable running to is now capped at 95MBPS download speed since this update!
Fix this now!- B_K_CAug 11, 2021Initiate

Is this speed result at the RBRs internal speed test app or thru a external speed test app like Ooklas installable speed test app?

I'm having the exact same issue and am not happy as I didn't "choose" to update the firmware, Netgear pushed this to my router without my permission and now I have a wifey who works at home who gets disconnected from alll of her Zoom calls. Thanks for nothing Netgear... I reported the issue to "Support" and haven't heard anything back...

Same issue here and NO SOLUTION from Netgear!
We have Cox GigaBlast service (1 GB of bandwidth).
When FW4.6.3.7 was released, our router auto-update and our speed went from 940mbps to 600mbps (using Internet Speed Test on Orbi app) to 8mbps-22mbps using SpeedTest.net on MacBookPro and other wireless devices connected to the Orbi Router. Our TV is wired and is getting 78mbps.
I 'upgraded' from the RBK 750 to the RBK753S. When I first installed this 'new' router with firmware 3.1.18.1, we got accurate speed and the wifi did not drop. But Netgear removed the option to select whether to auto-upgrade f/w...which means our f/w auto-upgraded to 4.6.3.7!! So now we're back to the exact same problem!
Cox is our ISP. They have sent three technicians to our home to verify the signal to the pedestal and to the node for our house; to the external box on our house and directly to the Netgear CM1200 modem. It is NOT an ISP issue.
Any solutions? The agent I spoke with today at Netgear is escalating this issue to a senior technical lead, as it's been three weeks of speed between 8mbps and 200mbps.
Thanks
