Ok. Glad ethernet worked. It should have. Unless the FW is way off or the RBS are in some bad condition.
Will keep asking about bringing the RBS self web page services back. It was available on the 8 series early on but someone decided to take it away. Would have been nice to have it here.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
I upgraded my AXE Orbi system to 6.3.1.21 very soon after it came out, but then had issues and rolled back. It was pulled from https://www.netgear.com/support/download/?model=RBKE963 soon after. I would recommend running the latest FW release on the downloads page or anything that is offered as auto-update. I don't believe 6.3.1.21 falls into either of these categories right now.

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
What issues were you having? I didn't notice any difference between this and the previous version.
I would have thought that netgear would make an official communication on the matter

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
I was told that it was pulled due to failing testing and should have not been posted in the first place. So only use what is seen on NG download page or here in the forums.
If your having problems please post about them and give details and we'll try and help you out.

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
I left 6.3.1.21 on my RBK963 and my firmware had recently been updated to 6.3.5.8 but I don't know when this update happened. I haven't really been home to observe if anything had broken but my cameras are working which is my main concern right now.

I have a question into NG Support about this. Nothing in the download pages for this version, no release notes. Hoping to have an answer shortly.

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
Since I rebooted the router I can not get the satellites to connect. How do I download the firmware to .85? Do I have to connect the laptop to each satellite?

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
I would downgrade the RBR back to v.85 as I presume the RBS are still at v.85?

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
No they are all at 631. It was working fine for a week until I rebooted the main router. Now satellites can't connect

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
If you connect the RBS to the back of the RBR using a ethernet cable do they appear on the RBRs web page then?

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
Didnt try that as they are in different rooms and they are fixed with screw on the shelf. It would be easier to connect a laptop and downgrade. Will this work?

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
I would bring one of the RBS to the same room as the RBR and connect it via ethernet. Give it 3-4 minutes...
Unfortunately the RBS dont' have a self service web page.

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
Think I upgraded the firmware on the RBS by going into their console using the IP address showing on Orbi App. There was a limited console available

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
See if you can get in. I would presume if the RBS isn't synced that the RBS web page won't be accessible via IP address...

Re: RBK963 6.3.1.21
Didnt work either with the cable, the satellites were still showing up as disconnected and no IP. Went into the Orbi APP and was showing 0 satellites, but when clicking on network map their were showing in red and disconnected. However their IP was in the details and I was able to access the IP and downgrade satellite first and then main router

You connected a cable directly to the satellite and entered the satellite IP address into the web browser?
or
You were somewhere else on the network and entered the satellite IP into the web browser?
