RBR750 Firmware 4.6.8.2_2.1.9 Slow Download

My orbi is running with a very slow download speed. Internet provider reported that they are providing internet without any issues of download speeds up to 600 mbps. I have had no issues for 1 year with this system and have had speeds slow down substantially for the last week.

I performed a reset on the orbi and am still facing slow download speeds. This is impacting my VoIP calls. Has my orbi gone bad?

What can I do to resolve this?

Download speeds are down to 9.34 Mbps and upload speeds of 22.62 Mbps

  • What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Are you connected wired or wirelessly to the system?

What are wired speed results with a wired PC and Ooklas installable speed test app?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Do you have Armor, Smart Parental Controls, or Traffic Meter enabled.

I chose not to use the service provider's modem. I use a Netgear CM1000v2.

Orbi is wired to the router. Should get speeds up to 600 Mbps. Wiring in my laptop to the orbi isnt even giving me a connection.

Home size is 2200 square feet. Satellite is within 30 feet.
