RBR750 router, LG smart TV and the Apple TV app (running on the smart TV)

I have an RBR750 router and an LG smart TV. I installed a few apps including Apple TV. Everything was working fine until installing AMOR! Additionally, the Apple TV application on the Smrt TV no longer works. In addition, I cannot listen to a film on the Apple TV site through my browser on my Mac!
Is this a known issue? What can I do?
At worst how can I remove ARMOR on my router...?

Try here:

NETGEAR Armor - NETGEAR Communities

Can you just turn off Armor in the Netgear app for whatever device you are using?

Thank you for the answer.

I disabled ARMOR from the router and Apple TV aoolication still won't start on my smart TV.

Kind of suggests that something else is causing your problems. Could have ben a coincidence that it happened when you subscribed to Armor.

The symptoms you describe – no sound on Apple TV – also don't sound like Armor getting in the way.

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

You say you have the RBR750. That's an Orbi router.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Orbi WiFi 6 (AX) and WiFi 6E (AXE) - NETGEAR Communities

You might like to search there for messages related to your issue.
