RBR750 turns to waiting status everyday
Hello all,
My RBR750 disconnects to the internet every morning. It shows "Waiting" for "Internet Status" on Orbi WebUI.
I will need to click on "Test" button to regain the internet access which is very annoying.
I thought that this could be DHCP leasing related. then I did assign a fixed IP to my router (Advanced->Setup->Internet Setup->Internet IP Address->Use Static IP Address); and ensure the same fixed IP was listed on DHCP reservation List on my modem (Actiontec T3200M).
However, the problem still exsits. Any thoughs?
Btw, RBR750's log is a joke. Nothing there; But I keep getting the following in modem's log: "ICMPv6 RA: ndisc_router_discovery() failed to add default route."
Not sure if this is related to the issue or not.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi WiFi 6 (AX) and WiFi 6E (AXE) - NETGEAR Communities
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Re: RBR750 turns to waiting status everyday
The Actiontec T3200M is a modem/router combo device. It causes a double nat.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.
https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.

Re: RBR750 turns to waiting status everyday
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What CAT# lan cable are you using between the RBR and modem?
Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR or disabled?
