Restrict Connected Devices to Satellites Only?
Hi All,
I am running an RBR350 Router with 2 Satellites.
As the router is in the garage and my teenagers are above and next to it, can I restrict them to connecting to the satellites in the main house only?
If not, would they be getting priority where speed/bandwidth is concerned? I figure the signal sent to the satellites from the router could be weakened if there are other devices directly connected to it.
I am at the other side of the house and work from home in graphics so would rather priority coming to me during the day, weekdays.
Steve

Re: Restrict Connected Devices to Satellites Only?
No.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
Try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
