No reason why it shouldn't work.
The best way to make them play nicely together would be to disable the modem bit of the c3700 modem/router.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual
Cable Your Modem Router to a Router or Gateway
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Re: c3700 modem compatibility with orbi rbk852
Will it work? Yes.
You can either run the C3700 in modem only mode or leave it in router mode. If you leave it in router mode just make sure the ssid is on a different channel/ the orbi is in access point mode (prevent a double nat), and the ssid is a different name than the primary.
(if it was me, I'd just use the c3700 in modem only mode).
I will say, the modem for the c3700 is a pretty base model docsis 3.0 device and isn't going to do much for speeds. If your speeds are greater than 100mbps, I'd be looking at upgrading it.

Re: c3700 modem compatibility with orbi rbk852
Hi Sir,
I really appreciate for your brief response. Sorry Im not into tech, so I Have a follow up question for you
How do I set up my c3700 for a router or a modem only?
What we have is a 200 -300 mbps. If I connect my net gear orbi. will it give us those speed for wifi, or do I need to really change the modem, if so, what modem could you recommend.
Thank You so much
Sean

I did explain how discover how to go about that in my earlier message.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
C3700 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
Check the section in the manual
Cable Your Modem Router to a Router or Gateway
It is on page 12.

You will never get wifi at that speed on many wifi clients, regardless of the modem you use. Wifi clients that connect at 2.4 GHz can't go that fast. Even some 5 GHz devices will have a hard time getting those speeds.
The speed you get is down to the wifi client as much as the source.
