how come RBKE963 in USA has a lot more coverage than rest of world? although same model?
Hello All,
I really want to buy NETGEAR Orbi Quad-Band WiFi 6E Mesh System (RBKE963), Router with 2 Satellite Extenders
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09D8THD92/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
but the weird thing is, i'm not in the USA, amazon UK and other sites are advertising for total coverage of the 3-pack 960 to be 7500 sf. however the US site plus amazon in US is stating the coverage is up to 9000sf! how come. same brand and model but vastly coverage variance?
check for example amazon UK
appreciate your inputs

Aside from there being absolutely no explanation for how this number is determined (i.e. what signal level is the cutoff value? what shape is this house?, where are units placed to get this result?, etc. etc.) there is that tiny footnote symbol: "will vary and be lowered by":
One might wonder if typical "building construction" might be different between the US and UK.

I would go by what NG puts on there product page and not by what is seen on 3rd party seller sites as they tend to over state information to make things look better for buyers:

I see one increase to 12k sq ft with a additional RBS.

Re: how come RBKE963 in USA has a lot more coverage than rest of world? although same model?
More than likely its related to the wifi broadcast difference from the US to the UK . The UK has different power restrictions for 2.4ghz/5ghz.

Correct. The 2.4G maximum power in Great Britain is 100 and in the United States 1000.

The 5G maximum power is the same, but 2.4G has longer range than 5G, so perhaps the marketing literature is based on 2.4G coverage?.
