how do i set up a RBS750 satellite with a different network key and SSID.
I have a RBR750 router and 2 satellites currently running. I recently acquired another exact set up. I want to use the 2 RBS750 satellites with my current set up. SSID and network key are different, and since new units wont sync i can not seem to find where i can make those changes. Can someone help me configure the 2 new satellites with my current system ?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What firmware version is loaded on your current Orbi system?
Depending on what you have loaded currently and what is on the incoming alien RBS, if the FW is older on the incoming RBS, may not connect.
Try ethernet connecting one of the incoming RBS to the back of the RBR using a ethernet LAN cable. Turn OFF all other RBS. See if the RBS gets an IP address from the RBR. If it does, try using the IP address in a web browser to access the RBS web page. Log in would be admin and password after you factory reset the RBS. If you can gain access to the RBS web page, updated the RBS firmware to same version as on the current RBR using downloaded FW file for the RBS. Do this for the other RBS as well.

Thanks, I disconnected my older setup, router and 2 satellites, then set up the new equipment using supplied ssid and password, once connected i updated the ssid and password to match my old system. After some firmware updates and reattempting to "Add Satellites" i got all 4 satellites to connect. I appreciate al the help.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Enjoy. 📡
Have you tried this:

I, personally, prefer the Orbi web interface. The bottom menu item on the Home Page is "Add Orbi Satellite"
Place the satellite in the same room as the router (where it is easy to see and touch both of them) and follow the directions.

yes, i did try that. Did not work. My network map shows my router and 2 original satellites connected and the new satellite shows as not connected. Im assuming its because the new satellite has a different SSID and network key. Does that make sense?
Might need to Factory Reset the new satellite before adding it.

(just the satellite)
I really find the web management more successful than the Orbi 'app'.
