AC3000 RBK50 - iPad Pro WiFi connection issues
Good morning,
i have issues with the connectivity between my ORBI RBK53 (downloaded and installed latest firmware v2.2.1.210)
my Ipad Pro shows to be connected to wifi over the ORBI system, but shows an Incorrect IP address my server has 192.168.1.1, where my IPAD after an innitial correct connection switched to ip 192.168.0.143. I have manually entered the correct ip, after which i have full connection again, but after a while is switches back to the 192.169.0.143.
the same happens to my Iphone 8.
i do have fantastic coverage right now throughout my appartment, but this connection issue with the Ipad/iphone is terribly annoying.
thanks for any help or advice.

Re: AC3000 RBK50 - iPad Pro WiFi connection issues
Try this:
Advanced Wireless Settings both 2.4GHz and 5GHz changed CTS/RTS Threshold to 2307.

https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Have-to-keep-rebooting-my-RBR50/m-p/1658603/highlight/false#M4...
Change the CTR/RTS threshold values for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (2341 and 2345 respectively), changed preamble modes to long preamble, and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only.
Also FYI:
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually.

Re: AC3000 RBK50 - iPad Pro WiFi connection issues
This IP address that is outside your Orbi's DHCP range must be coming from another router.
- Please check that your ISP modem is in bridged mode and that it's not working as another DHCP server.
- Please check if you have other devices in the network (Wifi repeaters/extenders) that can also work as DHCP servers.

Re: AC3000 RBK50 - iPad Pro WiFi connection issues
Thanks for the reply, but the router is absolutely the ORBI router. When I called the helpdesk, they mentioned that this was a common problem with NEW Ipad Pro models as well as Iphones. I find it strange however, that neither Netgear, not Apple has sofar come up with a patch.
