Re: AT&T Uverse Cable Not Working With Orbi RBK50 (AC3000)
Here's where I'm at with all of this...
My contract period with AT&T actually ends next month. Not only am I having all these issues getting the Orbi to work as intended...Xfinity came in a LOT ($137 for 150 MBPS) for less ( than AT&T ($180 for 100 MBPS or $224 for 1000 MBPS) for all my services! Next month I'm switching to Xfinity.
Re: Disney Go parental control
I would need to put the Orbi back into router mode to check this. Internet was running good today with Orbi being set to AP. If I start having problems again I'll be switching back to Orbi in router mode which will enable me to check this.
Re: Isolating Uverse Cable to Direct Input of Pace and All Other not on Pace
I have various equipment in each room...and one ethernet cable from the router to each room (hence the GS108's in each room). This just isn't possible with my setup.
Re Buying a Cable Modem so I can Control All Boxes Myself
Xfinity totally allows customers to do this. When I switch over to them I'll also install my own modem. I just need to pick a modem. Below are the compatible options which Xfinity lists on their website. Your thoughts re which to pick?
Modem + Gateway
ARRIS SVG2482AC
Netgear C7100V
ARRIS TG862G
ARRIS TG862R
Modem Only
Netgear CM500V
ARRIS TM822R
ARRIS TM822G

Yes, you'll need the Orbin in router mode for Circle support

No way to segment the PACE stuff from the other devices?

I would ask ComCast/Xfinity if they suport any of the modems metioned here if possibe:
Arris SB8200 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6SKK1G
Netgear CM1000 https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-CM1000-D ... ar+cm-1000
Motorola 8600 https://www.amazon.com/Motorola-MB8600- ... orola+8600
24 channel Netgear CM-600 https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-download ... rds=cm-600
16 channel Arris SB6183 https://www.amazon.com/ARRIS-SURFboard- ... rds=sb6183
These should be supported...
Gateways - routers/wifi >> NOT recommend - you should have a modem and a separate router. This is preferred. <<
