Additional Ethernet ports for base station
I would like to add additional ethernet ports to the Orbi Base station. Right now I have some plugged into the Orbi base station and some plugged into the Verizon Fios modem. Is this a problem or can I keep it that way. I have disabled the wifi on the verizon fios modem and the Orbi is configured to be the access point.

Re: Additional Ethernet ports for base station
You can connect a NON Managed Gb network switch (5 to 48 port) up to the back of the Orbi router if you need additional ports then connect all of your LAN devcies to this switch. I have a 24 port and other 8 ports connected to my router.

Re: Additional Ethernet ports for base station
So my Orbi base station is connected to my Verizon Fios Modem, so what cable would I connect to the unmanaged ethernet switch? or do I just get a new cable and connect it to the Orbi and then to the switch?

Re: Additional Ethernet ports for base station
Just connect a new cable from the back of the Orbi router to the un-managed switch...
