Can i use this router without a external antenna
I have to use an external antenna on the roof with any router I have, if I do not put a antenna on the roof I get 0 mbs ( I get 40 mbs with the antenna on the roof ), so I want to take the antenna down, so I need a good router, I saw this router NETGEAR Orbi Tri-band 4G Router, it says it works in place where Internet service is weak or unavailable, so will I get good mbs with the router I mentionef up above
Thank for your time

Re: Can i use this router without a external antenna
Are you talking like the LBR20?
Its LTE based so if you stuggle to get a LTE signal, it will to.
From the looks of it though, you can add an external antenna to it.
https://www.waveform.com/a/b/guides/hotspots/netgear-orbi-4g-lbr20
then you could use satellites to cover the reset of your home.
but if you're going that route, make sure to buy from somewhere with a generous return policy in case it doesn't work.

Re: Can i use this router without a external antenna
What I'm looking for really is a router that does not need an broadband antenna on the roof

"Broadband Antenna on the roof"
Doesn't make much sense.
What do you actually have setup for ISP for connections?
Are you trying to get to using LTE hotspots or what's the goal here?
And if you want an LTE hotspot/mesh system, do you have good coverage in your area?
They do work great but only if you have good LTE coverage.
