Connect Device Directly to Router vs WIFi
I am experiencing very small latency watching sporting events on YouTube TV (delay can very between 0 & 10 sec). I know that distance from the router when using Wifi will impact speed, however I want to take it a step further to ensure my device has the best possible performance.
Will connecting an ethernet cable from the main RBR50 router to my streaming device guarantee that I will always have the fastest speeds and least latency within my mesh network?

forsure a hardwired connection is going to give you the best performance.
I make sure all my streaming devices are hardwired in.

Would it make a tangible difference if it was wired to a satelitte vs the main router?

Connection to a satellite will be slower than directly to the router because of the WiFi backhaul link. "Tangible" is the appropriate question.
I think not.
