Does Orbi RBR 40 switch between 2.4/5ghz for device that is stationary?
I have a camera doorbell that is giving me some problems. The doorbell company says it is because I am on a mesh network and that the wifi to the doorbell is switching between 2.4/5ghz. When I look on the orbi app, the doorbell is always connected to 2.4 ghz. I think my doorbell company is wrong but wanted confirmation that Orbi RBR40 does not randomly switch between 2.4/5 for a device that is stationary. Thanks.

Re: Does Orbi RBR 40 switch between 2.4/5ghz for device that is stationary?
NO, Orbi doesn't switch, the device would switch. Only if the device supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz. If it only supports 2.4Ghz then it only connects at 2.4Ghz.
