Dynamic DNS in AP Mode?

HI,

 

Can someone explain the point of Dynamic DNS in AP mode?

 

Is there a way to login remotely to Orbi when it is in AP mode?

 

I have a Orange router that is used to an IP Phone line so assume I am unable to use the Orbi in Router mode?

    The point of dynamic DNS is to associate your WAN IP with a domain name. The point is the same in AP mode. 

     

    I remotely access my Orbi in AP mode a couple different ways. I have a VPN server setup on my LAN.  I also have an SSH server setup on my LAN. These servers allow remote access to any device on the LAN via http, RDP, etc.
