Ethernet connection to Android box
I have my Orbi set up as this: Virgin router is connected to my Orbi router and then I have 2 other Orbi satellites wirelessly set up around the house. What I would like to do is plug my Android box in to the Orbi satellite via Ethernet. I have the earth net wire connected but I can’t seem to get a connection on the box!
I have the latest firm wire on my devises as well as Orbi.
I am a new user of the Orbi system and I must say I love it.
I look forward to your help.

Re: Ethernet connection to Android box
Check the ethernet cable between the router and this "box". swap cables and test.
Check the network settings of this "box" and make sure it's set for automatic obtain IP addressing.
Check to make sure link speed on Network adapter on this "box" is set for automatic.
Contact the Mfr of this "box" and ask them for additional help and information.

Re: Ethernet connection to Android box
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I want to connect the box to the 1st satellite not the Orbi router. Can this be done? I am assuming it can, otherwise why would the satellites have Ethernet ports.
Regards

Re: Ethernet connection to Android box
Yes, you can connect any ethernet supported device to the back of the satellite after it's fully configured and set up.
