So, re my 40 having no admin security.
Factory reset brought back the password option but left the wireless admin page non responsive.
Manual download of the img files and manual update plus factory reset has resolved both.
So, flakey update issues remain.
Check your updated hardware carefully!

I manually updated my satellites first then the router. How do I reset to factory defaults?
You can use the web pages for the satellites and router or use the pin hole button on each unit. Press in the pin hole button until the top led turns on AMBER, then let go.
You can find the ERASE feature under Advanced Tab/Advanced/BackupSettings in the ui.
