Ok, I just wanted confirmation my Orbi reached the end of its useful life.
That is an entirely different question. My RBR50 Orbi firmware has not been updated since Feb 2023 and is marked "End of Service". But, it works FINE. I have never purchased a support contract from Netgear, so once my 90 days of 'complimentary support' expired, the only options (for me) are (a) Pay Netgear to have them say,"that's End of Life" or "the warranty expired YEARS ago", or (b) hope that someone on the Community Forum can answer my questions. So far, the Forum has been great.
As long as it works, I'll keep using it. The day it fails, I'll be at Costco, Best Buy, or Amazon like a flash and have a new WiFi system within 24 hours.

Re: Firmware update problem ORBI40
What can't you update?
Can manually download and manually install FW:
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbk43/
Orbi AC series is EoL. So no more FW updates would be forth coming.
