Help choosing right set up

Hi All,

I am a real Noob with stuff like this and I am getting very confused.

I live in the UK in a 4 bed extended semi-detached house.  We are on virgin media with their hub 4.  I have tried the devolo wifi magic 2 next system but it was pretty poor.

We are a family of 4 who are constantly streaming and also currently homeworking.  I am looking at the best way to get consistent internet, but without breaking the bank.

The Netgear Orbi get good reviews but there seems to be such a variety that I find it confusing.  According to Amazon the RBK753 is wifi 6 but when i looked on netgear it did not say this.

Can somebody please guide me as to what I should be considering.  The property is quite old, approx 100 years old and has been extended.

I don't know if a mesh system is best or someone else mentioned access points.  Its all a foreign language to me, lol

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
