Is there any benefit to use readyshare or my wireless printer's own app

I have canon wireless printer, it has wifi function so i dont really need any other 3ed party software or port device to make it wireless.

But my question is, would readyshare give more function to the printer, or would readyshare provide faster access by semi usb wired.

If it does have advantages, would i be able to use readyshare on top of canon app or canon app  on top of readyshare.

I am not sure, maybe i am wrong, my wifi printer wont print if i am not in the same network. So would i be able to print through internet (rather than lan) by using readyshare.
