Leviton light switches require 2.4ghz
I have 10 Leviton homekit smart switches in my home. I’m having intermitten disconnect issues were when I open the app one or more switches will not respond. It’s not all the switches and it’s not the same switches every time. They all have a strong signal and are connected to the 5 ghz. When i spoke to Leviton they said the switches should be connected to the 2.4ghz.
From my understanding looking at other forums it appears there is no way to force the devices to the 2.4 band. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

Re: Leviton light switches require 2.4ghz
The Orbi combines both 2.4 and 5Ghz into one SSID. It handles which radios to connect clients too. Theres nothing in the UI to separate these using the UI or officiallly supported.

Re: Leviton light switches require 2.4ghz
any device that connects to 5 but requires 2.4 is the fault of the device and poor programming
in the avanced settings you can dissable 5ghz ssid and solely use 2.4
there was a way to split them but that firmware dosent work
