Dec 23, 2019Need to change admin email
My father gave me his old Orbi (RBR40) after he got a newer one. I can't verify anything or update anything without contacting him to check his email. I need to change the admin email to my email, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do so! I've read all sorts of discussions on the support page, and there isn't a single one where the user can do so themselves. This is a huge issue! Please advise how in the world I can get the email changed to my email.

I believe the user closed is forum account as this thread reports a "retired member".

The user has to log into Netgear, select their account profile, and change the email.

Already tried that. Multiple times. There is no longer an option to change the email.
When I log onto the forum (like, right now), I can click on my User Name in the upper right corner and select from My Profile, My Settings, etc. Clicking on My Settings brings up this screen:
I covered up my personal email with the blue rectangle. Sorry you do not have this option. Perhaps it's time to ask one of the forum moderators?
