No devices connected to the Satellite

I have Orbi  model # - RBR40. 

I have 2 satellites connected. But none of my devices connect to them. They always stay connected with the main router. Shouldn't my devices automatically connect to the satellites if the devices comes close to the satellite?

It's often the case when there's strong signal overlapping/interference within the same area of coverage.  A simple solution is to reboot/power cyle the device in question.  If the device is running into trouble because of weak signal and won't connect to nearby Satellite after reboot, you can check out this workaround.
