One laptop connects to internet when connected to 2 satelites but not from router

One laptop is not able to get on internet when connected to router RBR50 but when connected to 2 satelites(RBS50 and RBS20), internet works like a charm. Problem is with one windows 10 laptop only while other devices work properly. Even when connected to router, it gets IP address but internet doesn't work.

Router is running version 2.3.5.30.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
Be sure the laptops wifi adapter drivers are up to date. If other devices are working with the RBR then the laptop needs to be checked.

Re: One laptop connects to internet when connected to 2 satelites but not from router

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Hitron CODA-4582
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode? Working in router mode

Laptop wifi adapters are upto date. It is a ASUS Zenbook running windows 10. Don't have any connection issues with any other network at school or other place. It doesn't work when connected to router but works when connected to satelite so not able to conclusively determine if problem is totally with laptop.

Re: One laptop connects to internet when connected to 2 satelites but not from router

Turn OFF the RBSs.

Configure the RBRs wifi security to disable temporarily. Try to connect the laptop to the RBR. Does it connect at all? Re-enable WPA2 and AES only.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Your modem has a router and wifi built in:

What mode is it working in? Router or is it bridged? Bridged would be preferred.
