I'm having trouble getting to https://orbilogin.net/ too - it's being blocked because of this issue. Any hints on how to get to the settings so I can access the advanced settings and make this change?

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
Are you trying to access the RBRs web page with a PC and web browser?

I have read all the support and still can not figure out what to do... please keep answers simple as that was the whole reason i went with the orbi system.
it is an Orbi RBR40 with 3 satelites connected to att uverse - i cant even find this in the netgear drop down.
issue: Orbi is not connecting to websites - even the the orbilogin.net website is being blocked and asking for a password
background: i connected the orbi to my ATT uverse modem that was installed the previous day. Internet was running perfectly with the att router that was provided. I simply unplugged the att router and then plugged in the orbi router to expand the broadcast.
what is the step by step approach to fixing this? and please dont say "Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode"
- i have no idea what this means...
- i have the orbi app on my phone and thats about it. i cant seem to connect to the orbi on my computer, because of this issue.
- i have read about turn of double IP settings, or turn off this or that - but can not seem to find a simple step by step approach to fixing this problem that i was assured was an out of box solution for a simple person like me.
Please help.

Your ISP modem would already have a built in router. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

knmartin Please open a Command Prompt on any computer attached to Orbi and type:
> tracert 8.8.8.8 (or traceroute 8.8.8.8 if you're using a Mac computer)
and paste the results here please.

ARGH!
Brand new to Orbi and it's working great for all of the phones in the house - not so for my laptop/iPad. Same "connection not secure" situation. So I took someone's advice about traceroute on my Mac and found this:
traceroute to 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
1 10.0.0.1 (10.0.0.1) 4.757 ms 7.031 ms 4.356 ms
2 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 4.367 ms 5.982 ms 6.424 ms
What now? It's been a long time since I was semi-computer literate. As someone else said, I bought an Orbi because it was "simple and easy to use"!
This RBK50 said it was updated to the latest firmware on install (3 days ago).
I have no problem using the phone app and I really wish there was a way to fix this issue there.
I'm using the "performance two-pack". The route & the satellite.

- TornadJan 24, 2020AspirantI cannot log onto Orbilogin.net (or dot com) on Mac as it keeps saying not secure. Downloaded app on phone, but seems not much can be done from there. Any ideas?
- FURRYe38Jan 25, 2020Guru
Use Safari, FireFox or Opera for Mac and log in to Orbilogin.com or 192.168.1.1. Accept the warning that the site is not secure. You'll be fine, it's just the browser warning you that the site is not using HTTPS vs HTTP.
