Orbi CBK Gateway/RBS Satellite Firmware Update FAQ

FYI,

Users of these CBR and RBS systems that come with the CBR in CB(Kits):

CBK40 and CBK750 series. 

 

Be advised that for any FW updates for the RBS satellite that come with the CBR or connected to the CBR unit, need to always use FW updates/files from NETGEAR's CBK download pages:

Both CBR and RBS unit FW files are located here. 

 

Use of RBS satellite FW from Orbi RBK systems are not supported or compatible with the CBK thus if loaded on the RBS will cause the RBS satellite to not sync the CBR or become non-operational, until the RBS satellite is loaded with the correct FW from the CBK download page.
