Orbi RBR40 not broadcasting "correct" SSID but is broadcasting a couple others
RBR40
v2.7.4.24
I think I know the ultimate answer, but I'm hoping that asking here may be a successful hail mary.
I hit the breaker for the same room the network equipment is in to replace a light fixture. When I turned everything back on, the router never came back up successfully/functional. The satellites still were checking in when I looked in the app, but nothing I've done seems to help.
The story so far...
Powercycling: w/different sequences between the modem and router
Factory reset: multiple ways in addition to the what's in the manual
Modem: switched up the modem to eliminate it as an issue
Direct connect: the laptop recognizes that something is connected to it (I get an IP from ipconfig, but it isn't a 192 address); I can ping the address; I cannot log into the router itself using any methods that I have found (SSH/browser using IP address (both 168 and 192)/browser using the netgear url)
Off-site: This is where it gets weird...I took it to my storage unit since it has no other wireless networks available. When powered on, it broadcasts Netgear75 and a hidden network. I turned it on and off several times to verify that it was coming from the router and not some random signal. I've tried to log into both using default creds with no success.
Misc...
I'm at my wits end and like I mentioned up top, I'm assuming that somehow I fried the router (even though it is connected to a surge protector) and I can accept that. It's an old setup and I'm ok with upgrading, but the fact that it's still broadcasting something is throwing me off something fierce.
Any ideas on what I can do to get my guy running correctly again?
Thanks
Chris

What is the default WiFi SSID printed on the product label (bottom of case)?
When Factory Reset, Orbi routers broadcast an SSID that is the letters "O-R-B-I" plus a two digit number.
Routers also broadcast a WiFi backhaul network that does not include the SSID.

Hi CrimpOn, thanks for the reply. While researching my issue, I had seen you help on a bunch of discussions and was hoping you'd chime in on mine. 😄
The SSID on the bottom is ORBI70 and is what I expected to show after the factory reset.
After going through an extensive amount of pages of troubleshooting documents, I now understand that the "hidden" SSID could be expected, but I can't recall if I had seen it before the incident. I want to say it wasn't there, but can't be 100% sure.
I can say, without a doubt, that the Netgear75 SSID was not present as a visible SSID prior to the incident.
