Orbi RBR50 Firmware Version
RBR50 Firmware version is currently 2.7.5.4. I believed this was released in 2023. Why has a new version not been released for quite some time? Is this product no longer supported?

Re: Orbi RBR50 Firmware Version
Why? is a question no one on the Community Forum can answer. Netgear is not likely to nominated for "Best at Keeping Customer Information Updated" The support page for the RBK53 product clearly states "End of Life"
Yet the product support page for the RBR50 router (part of this set) does not.
Nor does the RBK50 (one router and one satellite)
Netgear publishes a page listing every "Home" product that is "End of Service". (Consistency is also not a strong point for Netgear -- "service" or "Life"???)
On that page, the RBR50 is clearly shown as End of Service.
So, the consensus on the Community Forum is that there will be no more firmware releases for any of the original Orbi WiFi5 products (unless something happens that is SO DREADFUL that an upper level executive sends down an order, "Make this problem GO AWAY." Chances of that are very slim.)
There is already one of the Orbi AX products that has aged out: RBK842, although the support web pages do not indicate this.
Life is full of disappointments. I just found out that my 2013 Honda Accord will no longer release updates to the Navigation map. Car has 80,000 miles and will probably run another 100,000. But the navigation...... "End of Life".
